Clinical Supervision

Supervision is a professional relationship, which helps you, as a counsellor, psychotherapist, or trainee, to reflect upon and explore different aspects of your counselling work and relationships. As your supervisor, I aim to work with you in a non-judgemental way, providing a supportive and empathic working environment in which we can explore your client work in a creative yet gently challenging way. This includes, but is not limited to; practical aspects to ensure that you are working safely, legally and ethically; educative aspects to help you grow as a counsellor and to help you explore new perspectives; restorative aspects to ensure your own well being in your work.

My theoretical underpinning is Integrative, incorporating both Humanistic and Relational Analytical theories and concepts.  If you are a trainee, it may be important that you find a therapist who works with the same theoretical approach as you, and this should be discussed before we agree to work together.

I have an Advanced Certificate in Supervision and am a Senior Accredited member of the BACP. I am also a Full Clinical Psychotherapist member of UKCP.

Sessions cost: £60 per hour or £90 per 90 minute session.

Please note that I am currently unable to take on any more supervisees (as of October 2024).
