Counselling in Woodbridge
and the surrounding area
People can benefit from counselling for a wide range of reasons; to deal with thoughts, feelings and behaviours that may be causing distress; for support in times of difficulty, such as bereavement, divorce or unemployment; or to seek greater self-awareness and fulfilment in life, enabling growth and deeper understanding.
It is not always easy to speak to friends or family about difficult or personal issues and it can help to speak to a therapist who will not judge you or tell you what to do. Therapy can give you the opportunity to be heard and to find clarity to enable you to make your own decisions, all in a supportive and confidential environment.
If you think therapy could help you, please phone or email me for an introductory chat, and we can arrange an initial appointment to see how we can work together.
I also offer clinical supervision to counsellors, psychotherapists and trainees. I am a qualified EMDR practitioner, trained by the EMDR Association (UK). I am a Senior Accredited member of BACP (British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy) and a Full Clinical Psychotherapist member of UKCP (UK Council for Psychotherapy).
In addition to my counselling and psychotherapy training, I am also a qualified cyber therapist, certified by the Online Therapy Institute, and as such, I am able to offer a range of online therapy: video, audio, email or text, all of which can provide secure and confidential spaces for therapy. If you would like more information about the different online media and how we can work this way, please do get in touch via the contact form.
